August 2012 – Really Indian celebrates as Great Taste 2012 is announced!

The Original Curry Sauce will be proudly displaying a coveted Great Taste 2012 logo after being judged by a panel of 350 of the nation’s most discerning food experts over 45 days. To achieve Gold in Great Taste is a significant achievement for any food or drink producer and results are eagerly awaited. The scheme, run by the Guild of Fine Food, has been described as the epicurean equivalent of the Booker Prize and in 2012 a total of 8,807 different food and drink products were entered.

Judges this year included Masterchef winner and restaurateur Mat Follas, restaurant critic and Masterchef judge Charles Campion, food writers Lucas Hollweg and Xanthe Clay and over 300 food buyers from leading food halls, delicatessens and farm shops, including Harrods, Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason.

We are really please to have been asked to do some Indian cookery demonstrations at Holmfirth Fresh Fish.   These will take place on 12th May and will be a great opportunity for you to see the versatility of our fresh curry sauce and to come and taste the delicious result

Our fresh curry sauce is now available in three different styles; mild, medium and (for the brave) hot.   Look out for our brand new packaging that reflects our different heat strengths.   Whichever heat is you prefer, all three varieties make a mouthwatering tasty curry that will make you want to come back for more.
