Rajasthani Lamb Shanks

Slow cooked lamb shanks – traditionally a dish cooked by shepherds, it is left to simmer overtime. A favourite for lovers of chilli and strong flavours, the earthy tones of the Rajasthani sauce make it an ideal winter warmer.

Prep and cook time 2.5 Hours



1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
2. To a large casserole dish, add the pot of sauce, the lamb shanks and the water
3. Cover and place in the oven
4. Allow to slow cook for 2.5 Hours
5. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander (optional)
6. Serve with rice, naan or chapati
